A response to comments in an open forum unlike the new Kerry film

Guliani's retarded.

What? That's it.

The issue with the Kerry film is simple. There is a difference of arena. While, yes, people can turn off their televisions it's still presented in a very public forum instead of a private situation like Moore’s film. Also, while, yes, the film is obviously a jab at Kerry and his past they're trying to pass it off as news or a historical documentary unlike Moore. At least Moore had the balls to admit that he was taking potshots at the president instead of childishly hiding behind a lie. The Kerry film is an attack and is political in nature. This means that the stations have to be far and balanced. If they air this film, they, more than likely, will be sued up to their eyes by any number of people, republicans included. It's just stupid. Sinclair is trying to destroy someone's credibility simply because he's running against the president and here we have the republicans saying that Kerry used Chaney's daughter as a last ditch effort to get voters. Right. It’s pot calling the kettle black, it’s childish, it’s pointless political attacks for marginal gain. All of these things are stupid, pointless, and, in my opinion, wrong. It’s a shame that people have to drown their morals to beg votes, on both sides.

Lastly, I don’t like either candidate. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s a race between a robot and a monkey, and that’s really retarded; still not as retarded as Guliani.

Agreed. The positions of both are skewed to their own means, but, like I said, one you have to consciously buy a ticket for while the other is broadcast to the public. There is no choice for one while the other is completely choice.
The other main difference is that the Sinclair film parades around as fact while Moore has openly expressed that his film, and films, are opinion pieces, and should be taken as such. That's pretty major. One can admit that he's skewed, the other hides behind titles and will probably have their licenses yanked.
