Overwhelming...

Tom just dropped by to tell me that he resigned today, and he'll be gone as of the 21st. This is great news for him as he will become the director of a journal that is located two blocks from his house, reporting directly to the CEO and writing a column for said journal once a month. This is also, sadly, bad news for me as he is the one person on my side when it comes down to workload, respect and...well, listening to me complain about my conditions.
