A dumping ground for the inane...

Thursday, October 28, 2004

This week has been very strange – shifts all around – and it took me a while to get used to it. Right

now though, things are mentally coming back. Clearer thought, forced writing, and more sleep. It’s frightening how profound a change the littlest things can make.

Regardless, the election is upon us. There have been voting booth, racial, and lawyer problems; to

whittle the list down to a nub. Kerry is pandering to the minority public by speaking French, Spanish and God-knows what else, while Bush has, on Good Morning America, told Charlie Gibson that he does not back a Amendment to Ban Gay Marriage even though that seemed to be one of his major platform issues. It’s become difficult to tell which one is worse. Also, the Red Sox swept the Cardinals to win the World Series and reverse their history of post-season blunders. As well, I’m using really crappy drumsticks right now that I can hardly hold onto while playing. The darn things are practically laminated allowing for some real grip antithesis. I’ll be buying new ones today.

And now I’m going home.

Perhaps more to come.
